Transcript: Your Calendar Is A Mirror For Your Life
Here’s an interesting question for you to ponder….
If I looked at your current calendar or schedule, would I know what’s important to you in life? Would it look to me like you’re building the life of your dreams? Would I see items from your Live List on there?]

Tick-tock, goes the clock as the saying goes, and let’s be honest, time can slip away like sand through our fingers if we’re not careful with it! We're all guilty of filling our calendars with stuff we don't care about, leaving us feeling like we're drowning in to-do lists. We get so bogged down with other people's needs that we forget about our own well-being.
Let's change that! Our time is precious, and we should treat it like gold! Instead of saying "yes" to everything, let's start prioritising quality time with those we love and for working on things we love. Whether it's snuggling up with a good book or going out for a romantic picnic with our significant other, let's make time for the things that truly matter. After all, time is a reflection of our values and priorities. Let's cherish it, protect it, and use it wisely!
As you start playing with your schedule, it really does pay to be intentional with the things you’re giving your time to. Look at your live list. If ‘spend quality time with family’ on your list, ideally there would be family time reflected in your schedule. It’s a similar situation for exercise, travel, education, creative pursuits, all of the things. If you want to use your time to build a life that feels fabulous for you - and seriously, why wouldn’t you - then you need to ensure that you prioritise the things that are important to you

And there’s nothing wrong with having a long term view of things. If you want to plan a special trip in 9 months time, then slot that in early - even if it is only pencilled or postied in. Same goes - want a special valentine’s day or Easter celebration? Plan it out in your calendar.

If you are a visual human, colour coding your calendar can really help here. I have separate colours for coaching, work related appointments, well being and exercise time and travel and getaways. I can look at each month in my calendar and tell immediately if I’m unbalanced in any one area of my life. If I don’t see enough life force red or sunny yellow which are my wellbeing and travel colours, I’ll start shifting things around so that I bring more life into my life.

Ok, I hope you can see how your calendar is a mirror for the way you’re living your life. Time for us to jump into a new chapter. See you soon.
